Our adventure leads you to Mid West Himalaya taking an overland drive from Kathmandu to scenic Pokhara by its beautiful Phewa Lake, where Annapurna and Machhapuchare Himal ‘Fish Tail’ reflects on its calm lakes in early morning time.

From Pokhara heading towards lovely Gurung villages of Ghandruk and Chomrong walking into deep forested areas within cooler alpine zone, then into a river gorge of Modi for sometime till it opens into a wide exposed country at Annapurna Sanctuary and at Base Camp.

At Annapurna Base Camp probably the only place in the whole Himalaya with a nice and cozy lodge next to world’s tenth highest Mt. Annapurna which towers at 8,091 m high above base camp of above 3,210 m.

Certainly a most attractive adventure destination without the problem of catching AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness, where all types of travelers can join in this wonderful trek to Annapurna base camp and the sanctuary.

Day 01:            Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02:            In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.
Day 03:            Drive to Pokhara 860 m - 06 hrs journeys.
Day 04:            Drive to Nayapul 1,100m begin trek to Ghandruk 1,940 m - 04 hrs.
Day 05:            Trek to Chomrong 2,340 m - 05 hrs.
Day 06:            Trek to Dovan 2,630 m - 06 hrs.
Day 07:            Trek to MBC 3,700 m (Machhapuchare Base Camp) via Deurali 3,230 m - 06 hrs.
Day 08:            Trek to ABC 4,130 m (Annapurna Base Camp) - 03 hrs.
Day 09:            Trek to Bamboo 2,345 m - 06 hrs
Day 10:            Trek to Jhinu village 1,780m with Hot Spring - 06 hrs.
Day 11:            Trek back to Nayapul 1,010 m - 04 hrs and drive to Pokhara 860 m - 02 hrs.
Day 12:            Fly or drive to Kathmandu and transfer to your respective hotels.
Day 13:            In Kathmandu free day with optional tour.
Day 14:            International departure for home ward bound.

Day 01:            Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotels.

On reaching Kathmandu via various respective airlines, walk to airport terminal exit, here our guide and staff receives you with warm greeting and then transfer into car or coach (depending upon group size) for short drive into the heart of Kathmandu city.


On reaching your hotel check into your rooms, after rest and refreshment join in the main hall or lobby to join with other members of Annapurna Base Camp & Sanctuary Trekking for briefing of treks with do's and don'ts.


Evening includes welcome group dinner in a nice restaurant introducing you with typical Nepali cuisine with folk dance program of all parts of Nepal as entertainment.


Day 02:            In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.
Morning activities starts after breakfast, where our city guide will accompany you to interesting World Heritage Sites in our wonderful sightseeing tour, which helps you to gain knowledge regarding local culture and traditional life of Nepalese people as it was for many past centuries.

Tour leads around Kathmandu Durbar Square teemed with local life around historical sites and monuments, then heading due west at Swayambhunath Stupa (popularly known as Monkey Temple where large numbers of monkeys found around).


One of the oldest monuments of Nepal dates back more than 2,500 years old overlooking views of Kathmandu valley and the city from this hillock Buddhist Chaitya or Stupa.


After with lunch in local restaurant as the tour continues to holy Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath towards east of the city, one of the holiest Hindu sites, where great festival takes place in the month of February known as Shiva Ratri. 


From here visit Bouddhanath huge Stupa, a Buddhist landmark the area also known as 'Little Tibet' due to strong Tibetan influence in religion-culture and traditional way of life.


Our marvelous tour completes and then back into your hotel, afternoon free at leisure with preparation for Annapurna Base Camp & Sanctuary Trekking next early morning. 


Day 03:            Drive or fly to Pokhara 950m - 06 hrs journey.
Morning traveling by coach or in private vehicles (depending upon group size), where drive leads on interesting and exciting highway, one of the busiest roads linking capital with other districts of Nepal.

 Heading towards Nepal Mid West to reach at beautiful Pokhara city located on a green valley surrounded with rolling hills and snow capped mountains.

On reaching Pokhara transfer to respective hotels near calm and serene Phewa Lake with afternoon free for short walks.

Day 04:            Drive to Nayapul 1,100m begin trek to Ghandruk 1,940 m - 04 hrs.
Morning 2 hours drive from Pokhara heading towards mid hills towns and villages. Superb views of rolling landscapes and Annapurna mountain range includes majestic Mt. Machhapuchare “The Fish Tail” on the drive to Nayapul (new bridge) located on Pokhara-Baglung / Beni highway.

From here starting with gradual walk past Nayapul and Bhirethati village, following Modi River for a while, and then climb up to Kimche village where a nice pleasant walk on stone paved path leads you at Ghandruk also spelled as Ghandrung village.

Ghandruk a large Gurung village around Annapurna region, where men folk of this and around this areas have long tradition of supplying some of the finest soldiers in the Gorkha Regiment to both British and Indian armies.

Day 05:            Trek to Chomrong 2,340 m - 05 hrs.

From Ghandruk village morning walk heading with short climb above village and then on pleasant path into forested areas for sometime before climb of 45 minutes on top Kimrong village.

A small place perched on a ridge with few teahouses serving as lodge, from here descend into cool forest to reach at Kimrong valley, from here climb for another few hours all the way to top of Chomrong village.

After a strenuous climb, short downhill walk brings you at Chomrong village for overnight stop, Chomrong the last and permanent Gurung village and the door to Annapurna Sanctuary and Base Camp.

Day 06:            Trek to Dovan 2,630 m - 06 hrs.

With pleasant stop at Chomrong with views of Annapurna peaks, morning walk with short descend over terraced farms to reach at Chomrong River and then crossing a bridge an uphill climb for an hour to Sinuwa-Danda.

A small place with few lodges offering great views of surrounding landscapes, from here walk into cool dense forest to reach at Bamboo, a small settlement with number of lodge, located by the Modi River in the midst of bamboo, rhododendron and oaks forest.

From Bamboo an hour walks up to reach at Dovan for overnight stop, situated in the middle of forest Modi River gorge.

Day 07:            Trek to MBC 3,700 m (Machhapuchare Base Camp) via Deurali 3,230 m - 06 hrs.

From here onward air gets cooler and fresher as the walk enters Annapurna Sanctuary and at Base Camp, walk leads on gradual winding path with few ups to Himalaya Hotel located near a large Hinko Cave at 3,160 m high.


After a short break walk on glacier and moraine sections from an old avalanche, on crossing a small bridge with short climb to reach our lunch stop at Deurali.


Deurali with last lodge before Machhapuchare Base Camp, with pleasant lunch stop at Deurali walk leads towards where vegetation and tree lines drops for high altitude alpine bushes and shrubs.


From here our route climbs following glacial Modi river upstream right up to its source at base camp, walk gets better in some sections and then with last steep climb to reaching at Machhapuchare Base Camp for overnight stop.


A place with few good lodges located beneath Mt. Machhapuchare North Face, here onward start of Annapurna Sanctuary, afternoon relax or take a short excursion around this tranquil environment facing views of Annapurna South-Huinchuli, Singu Chuli / Fluted peak with wall of Annapurna I and Vara Shikar (Annapurna Fang) in the North West direction.


Day 08:            Trek to ABC 4,130 m (Annapurna Base Camp) - 03 hrs.
With marvelous morning and views of Annapurna range, a short walk today to reach our main highlight of the adventure to Annapurna base camp.

Morning walk leads up on a grassy hill slopes to reach a higher level ground and a plateau as walk advance towards Annapurna Base Camp facing stunning views of Annapurna peaks that surrounds the sanctuary with giant wall of Mt. Annapurna I.

After a good scenic walk reaching at Annapurna Base Camp a magnificent spot with few large lodges, offering tremendous scenery of snowcapped peaks that encircles this lovely spot at base camp, afternoon at leisure to enjoy the mountain views.

Annapurna area was first explored by the British Adventure Col. James O.M. 'Jimmy' Roberts in the year 1956 and exposed to the world as the 'Sanctuary of Gods'. The Sanctuary has been christened as "Annapurna Sanctuary" ever since.

Day 09:            Trek to Bamboo 2,345 m - 06 hrs.
After a great and enjoyable time at Annapurna Base Camp within beautiful sanctuary, a long downhill walk to reach lower areas past Machhapuchare Base Camp and Deurali, with few short ups and down following on gradual winding trail reaching back green forested areas at Bamboo for overnight stop.

Day 10:            Trek to Jhinu village 1,780m with Hot Spring - 06 hrs.

From Bamboo a short steep climb to Khuldi Ghar, then on winding downhill path into forest to Sinuwa-Danda, and then walk descends to Chomrong khola.

After crossing over a bridge an uphill walk for an hour to reach at Chomrong village for short rest or possible lunch stop, after Chomrong short up for half hour to the top of a ridge, from here descending to Jhinu-Danda village for overnight stop.

A nice small village on a ridge where a short walk downhill takes you to a refreshing hot springs known as Tato-Pani in Nepali located by the Modi River.

Day 11:            Trek back to Nayapul 1,010 m - 04 hrs and drive to Pokhara 860 m - 02 hrs.

After a nice and wonderful time at Jhinu with refreshing hot-spring, morning leads to a long downhill to Bhirethati following Modi River downstream, as walk leads past small forested areas and rice terraces, waterfalls reaching much warmer and green areas.


On reaching Bhirethati, one of the attractive village around Annapurna Himalaya at present nearly turning into a town with many good lodges, shops and stores.


From here walk for twenty minutes to Nayapul (New Bridge) for the drive back to Pokhara, to conclude this wonderful trip and then heading back at famous touristic spot in Pokhara by the lake Phewa.


Day 12:            Fly or drive to Kathmandu and transfer to your respective hotels.
Morning a drive to Kathmandu after a wonderful experience on Annapurna Sanctuary and base camp trekking, on reaching Kathmandu transfer to your hotels with afternoon free at leisure for individual activities and shopping.

Day 13:            In Kathmandu free and spare day for individual activities.
A free and relaxing day in Kathmandu, relax and enjoy with individual activities shopping souvenirs or join in for another exciting sightseeing tour.

Day 14:            International departure for homeward bound.
Last day in amazing Nepal the country of Himalaya wonders, depart from the hotel as per your international flight for homeward bound or to your next destination country, our staff transfer you with farewell garland or Buddhist silk scarf 'Khada' for your safe and good journey, after a wonderful memories of Annapurna Base Camp Trekking.
