Langtang Valley Panorama trekking leads you north of Kathmandu valley which is mere the distance of 32 k.m (aeronautical miles), but takes you more than six hours to reach our start our wonderful adventure towards Kyanjin Gompa around beautiful and most scenic Langtang Valley.

Langtang Valley Panorama trekking, a moderate country walks which fits to all age groups from younger to elderly people as this walk leads you gaining heights slowly, with time to get acclimatize along the walks with daily views of mountain scenery.

A fascinating destination, which is a third popular adventure destinations in Nepal Himalaya after Annapurna and Everest region, due to its closeness to Kathmandu valley and the city. Langtang Valley and its great mountain range located North Central Himalaya of Nepal which lies on the route to Tibet frontier, where Langtang Himal also straddles the border with Nepal and Tibet.

Starting this great adventure of a week duration with interesting overland past farm villages towns to reach at cooler alpine zone at Dhunche town and beyond to Syabrubesi village in the country of Tamang, the mountain and hill tribes of Nepal and Langtang Himal region interwoven with Buddhism religion, as you can witness its great colorful culture visiting it traditional village on walk to Langtang valley.

Finally, our journey enters into a wide valley covered with series of snow clad peaks at Kyanjin Gompa within scenic Langtang valley and the highest point of the adventure, with fabulous time at Langtang valley with dramatic panorama of mountains our walk leads back to the road head at Syabrubesi village.

Day 01:            Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02:            In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.
Day 03:            Drive to Syabrubesi 1,470 m via Trisuli and Dhunche town 1,950 - 06 hrs.
Day 04:            Trek to Lama Hotel 2,350 m - 06 hrs.                       
Day 05:            Trek to Langtang village 3, 307m - 05 hrs.
Day 06:            Trek to Kyanjin Gompa 3,750 m - 04 hours.
Day 07:            Rest-Day for acclimatization at leisure for hike around.
Day 08:            Trek to Lama Hotel 2,350m - 06 hours walk.
Day 09:            Trek to Syabrubesi - 06 hours walk.
Day 10:            Drive to Kathmandu and transfer to your respective hotels.
Day 11:            In Kathmandu free and spare day for individual activities.
Day 12:            International departure for home ward bound.

Day 01:            Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotels.

On reaching Kathmandu via various respective airlines, walk to airport terminal exit, here our guide and staff receives you with warm greeting and then transfer into car or coach (depending upon group size) for short drive into the heart of Kathmandu city.


On reaching your hotel check into your rooms, after rest and refreshment join in the main hall or lobby to join with other members of Langtang Valley Panorama Trekking for briefing of treks with do's and don'ts.


Evening includes welcome group dinner in a nice restaurant introducing you with typical Nepali cuisine with folk dance program of all parts of Nepal as entertainment.


Day 02:            In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.
Morning activities starts after breakfast, where our city guide will accompany you to interesting World Heritage Sites in our wonderful sightseeing tour, which helps you to gain knowledge regarding local culture and traditional life of Nepalese people as it was for many past centuries.

Tour leads around Kathmandu Durbar Square teemed with local life around historical sites and monuments, then heading due west at Swayambhunath Stupa (popularly known as Monkey Temple where large numbers of monkeys found around).


One of the oldest monuments of Nepal dates back more than 2,500 years old overlooking views of Kathmandu valley and the city from this hillock Buddhist Chaitya or Stupa.


After with lunch in local restaurant as the tour continues to holy Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath towards east of the city, one of the holiest Hindu sites, where great festival takes place in the month of February known as Shiva Ratri. 


From here visit Bouddhanath huge Stupa, a Buddhist landmark the area also known as 'Little Tibet' due to strong Tibetan influence in religion-culture and traditional way of life.


Our marvelous tour completes and then back into your hotel, afternoon free at leisure with preparation for Langtang Valley Panorama Trekking next morning. 


Day 03:            Drive to Syabrubesi 1,470 m via Trisuli and Dhunche town 1,950 - 06 hrs.
Morning traveling by coach or in private vehicles (depending upon group size), where drive leads on interesting and exciting highway to reach at Dhunche and beyond to Syabrubesi village.


On drive views of mountain and scenic landscapes as journey leads past number of farm villages and towns and then ending the drive at Syabrubesi for first overnight stop, around Langtang Himal and Rasuwa district home of Tamang the mountain tribe of Nepal and Langtang areas.


Day 04:            Trek to Lama Hotel 2,200m - 06 hrs.
First day walk from Syabrubesi, leads to a climb for a while with rest of the walk on gradual winding uphill trail through terraced farm fields and villages.

As our route enters into cool forested area in a gorge following the torrential glacial Trisuli River  upstream, as the path follows with a climb in the cool shade of rhododendron and oaks forest after a good walk of near six hours reaching a small clearing at Lama-Hotel for overnight stop.

Day 05:            Trek to Langtang village 3, 307m - 05 hrs.
From here few hours of morning walks leads to Ghoretabela for possible lunch stop within lovely forest of pines, hemlocks and rhododendron from here onwards you can feel the altitude also.

After a refreshing break, walk continues on the road to beautiful Langtang valley, an hour treks into a pleasant cool alpine woodland, crossing a small stream leaving tree line behind as our walk leads uphill for an hour, then walk gets easier on gradual trail with few ups and down to Langtang village for overnight stop.

Day 06:            Trek to Kyanjin Gompa 3,750 m - 04 hours.
From Langtang village walking on nice gradual uphill trail for few hours following “mani-prayer wall” where walking clockwise is the appropriate way in respect to Buddhist religion, walk leads further east as valley opens up with views of snow capped peaks.

After hours of gentle good walk overlooking views of peaks brings you at Kyanjin Gompa a charming and scenic spot with amazing views of Langtang Lirung above 7,000m and its icefall at near distance Kyanjin Gompa, surrounded by a ridge formed by glacial moraine of rocks and boulders.

Day 07:            Rest day for acclimatization and for hike around.
A leisure day, visit Kyanjin small Cheese factory with optional hike up to Tsego-Ri or Kyngin Ri above 4,700 m / 15,420ft adding more heights facing stunning panorama of snow capped mountains from Langtang Himal, Ganesh Himal (7,405 m), Langtang Lirung (7,234 m),  Ghengu Liru (Langtang II  6,571m), Kimshun (6,745 m) and Shalbachum(6,918m), Chimsedang, Naya-Kanga or Ganja Chuli (5,846m), Gangchempo, Tilman's beautiful Fluted Peak, Jugal Himal and ending to eastern horizon at Dorje Lakpa (6,980m).

Day 08:            Trek to Lama Hotel 2, 350 m - 06 hrs.
After a refreshing and pleasant scenic time at Kyanjin, our walk retracing the trail back on same route to Lama-Hotel a small settlement in the midst of the forest at the bank of upper Trisuli River.

Day 09:            Trek to Syabrubesi - 06 hours walk.

Last day walk of this fantastic journey leads back to Syabrubesi, as walk follows on the same trail providing you with much views of the area, heading downhill past farm villages and terrace fields and then crossing over a bridge, where our final trek of the adventure brings you at Syabrubesi for last overnight stop around Langtang Himal and Rasuwa district.

Day 10:            Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.
Morning drive back to Kathmandu on same interesting highway with exciting time as drive leads through rural farm villages and towns with views of mountains after six hours journey reaching in Kathmandu, then transfer to your respective hotels.

Day 11:            In Kathmandu free and spare day for individual activities.
A free and relaxing day in Kathmandu, relax and enjoy with individual activities shopping souvenirs or join in for another exciting sightseeing tour.

Day 12:            International departure for homeward bound.
Last day in amazing Nepal the country of Himalaya wonders, depart from the hotel as per your international flight for homeward bound or to your next destination country, our staff transfer you with farewell garland or Buddhist silk scarf 'Khada' for your safe and good journey, after a wonderful memories of Langtang Valley Panorama Trekking.
